Location: Central and Western District

Roles & responsibilities:

• Plan, monitor and support the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and systems in the District Health Centre and Women Wellness Satellite sites;
• maintain proper IT security controls, and coordinate relevant software and system development;
• identify, test and correct problems of the IT system and update the documentation to reflect changes;
• provide consulting and problem-solving services to users in resolving business and operation problems of the IT system;
• provide round the clock crash maintenance and technical support for the IT infrastructure and systems;
• develop training materials and conduct training, and advise users on course of action on operation, enhancement and workaround of IT system; and
• perform any other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

• a recognized degree in IT or equivalent;
• preferably 5 years of post-qualification IT experience of which 2 years in the provision of system and IT infrastructure management, network support and maintenance services, along with practical skills in IT network support including WAN, LAN, firewall and WAF and PC workstations;
• effective communication skills in English and Cantonese; and
• able to work as a team with sound interpersonal skills as well as work independently with initiative and strong sense of responsibility.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a salary currently at $31,795 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 13). Entry salary depends on years of recognized experience. The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review. The fringe benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.
