We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Event Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing a wide range of events from conception through to completion. The successful candidate must be an effective communicator, and possess excellent organizational and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage events, including conferences, corporate events, carnival, annual dinner and other special occasions
- Develop event concepts and themes in collaboration with clients or management
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure all arrangements are in place
- Manage event budgets and resources effectively
- Oversee event set-up, execution, and breakdown to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Handle any troubleshooting or problems that arise on the event day
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess successes and areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Event Manager or in a similar role
*less experience will be considered as Assistant Event Manager
- 2-3 years of experience specifically in an event agency or similar fast-paced environment
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
