PURPOSE OF POSITION
Contribute to the effective implementation of the rehabilitation schemes by participating in outreach programs, conducting household visits and liaising with relevant parties, providing necessary support to facilitate smooth and satisfactory implementation of technical assessment through rehabilitation projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
- Assist in the implementation of rehabilitation strategies/schemes and the promotion of such by taking part in all rehabilitation related activities.
- Maintain contact with stakeholders including property owners, IOs, building management offices and other owners related organizations to solicit their opinion and support on building rehabilitation.
- Persuade owners of target individuals and buildings to participate in rehabilitation schemes/projects through outreach programs, household visits, presentations, etc.
- Facilitate the smooth implementation of rehabilitation projects of individual applicants by properly addressing to queries and concerns from stakeholders on matters relating to the planning and proceeding of rehabilitation works.
- Work with relevant parties such as Home Affairs Department, Buildings Department, Fire Services Department, Hong Kong Housing Society and other NGOs, consultants and building management companies etc with a view to resolve problems arising from the rehabilitation projects.
- Implement special projects related to building rehabilitation, liaising with consultants and contractors as required, monitor and ensure results meeting all requirements in time, cost and quality as well as complying with the relevant administrative procedures.
- Provide other administrative support including maintaining a database on rehabilitation projects, preparing relevant documentation and reports, providing logistic support in respect of all rehabilitation related programs and activities.
- Any other related activities which may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
SKILL REQUIREMENT
Qualifications / Experience
- Degree/ Associate Degree/ Higher Diploma in relevant building/ construction profession, housing management, surveying or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience (1 year for degree holder)
