SHANGHAI, Sept. 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- As China's hospitality and foodservice industry continues to evolve, businesses are placing greater focus on efficient sourcing, supply chain collaboration and new growth opportunities. Taking place from 13–15 October 2026 at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, HOTELEX Shenzhen 2026 will bring together global suppliers, manufacturers and professional buyers to explore business opportunities in South China and beyond.

Located at the heart of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Shenzhen provides a unique connection between China's domestic market and international trade networks. The city's foodservice market is expected to exceed RMB 200 billion in 2026, supported by rising consumer demand and continued industry growth. Meanwhile, Shenzhen's strong cross-border trade capabilities continue to create opportunities for companies expanding into China and overseas markets, with the city's total import and export value reaching RMB 1.82 trillion from January to April 2026, up 31% year on year.

Against this market backdrop, HOTELEX Shenzhen 2026 will serve as a comprehensive sourcing and business platform for the hospitality and foodservice industry. Covering 200,000 square metres, the exhibition will bring together 2,000+ exhibitors and 150,000+ professional buyers across 10 exhibition halls, showcasing products and solutions across the entire industry value chain.

The exhibition will cover key sectors including coffee and tea, beverages, food ingredients, catering equipment, tableware, bakery and desserts, wine and spirits, private label and OEM, lifestyle products and group catering solutions. Through its four focus areas—Expanding Global Trade, Smart Procurement, Retail Innovation and Product Launches—HOTELEX Shenzhen 2026 will address the industry's growing demand for international business connections, operational efficiency, new consumer channels and market innovation.

With a strong focus on business matchmaking, the exhibition will connect suppliers with decision-makers from restaurants, hotels, cafés, beverage chains, retail channels and commercial catering companies. Dedicated procurement programmes will also support connections with professional buyers from the Greater Bay Area, Southeast Asia and other international markets.

In addition to sourcing activities, HOTELEX Shenzhen 2026 will feature 20+ industry events, including forums, competitions and networking programmes focused on hospitality development, foodservice trends and industry exchange.

Held in October for the first time, HOTELEX Shenzhen 2026 aligns with the industry's key procurement period, offering businesses an opportunity to introduce new products, develop partnerships and expand their market presence.
