SHANGHAI, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- YR Fitness, one of China's most established original-design commercial fitness equipment manufacturers, is strengthening its presence in Indonesia through its partnership with PrimaFit, a multi-brand fitness equipment distributor serving the market since 1988.

The relationship developed step by step. In 2022, PrimaFit began with a sample order to evaluate YR products. In 2023, the cooperation moved into regular project-based purchasing. By 2024, PrimaFit had become the exclusive distributor for YR Fitness' 61 Series in Indonesia.

Trust Built Over Time

"A long-term partnership is not built on the first order," said George Yang, founder and chief designer of YR Fitness. "What matters is what happens after that: whether the product performs, whether communication stays efficient, and whether we are still there when support is needed."

As the cooperation developed, product performance, day-to-day communication and after-sales response became important parts of the working relationship.

The progression from product testing to regular purchasing and then exclusive distribution reflects how YR aims to build distributor partnerships: earn confidence through the product first, then reinforce it through every interaction that follows.

A Distinct Position in PrimaFit's Portfolio

PrimaFit represents multiple international fitness brands and serves commercial gyms, hotels, residential projects and other professional fitness environments across Indonesia.

Within that portfolio, YR offers a distinct value proposition.

For customers seeking commercial-grade equipment, original product design and dependable support while also considering overall investment, YR provides another way to balance product quality, project requirements and equipment budget.

That position is supported by a product foundation built since 1997. YR's strength equipment is developed around original design, in-house R&D and manufacturing, backed by more than 200 product patents and customers in over 110 countries.

PrimaFit adds local market knowledge, seven showrooms across Jakarta, Surabaya and Bali, plus planning, installation and after-sales capabilities.

Together, the partnership combines YR's manufacturing and product-development capabilities with PrimaFit's understanding of the Indonesian market.
