As part of the collaboration, Finloop Finance and QFPay HK have completed a payment transaction using HKDAP, Hong Kong's regulated HKD-backed stablecoin, demonstrating its application within local payment and settlement processes.

Anchorpoint is among the first licensed stablecoin issuers by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority under the Stablecoins Ordinance. As an authorised distributor of HKDAP via Beta Access, Finloop Finance can provide HKDAP subscription, redemption, exchange, trading and settlement services. Working together, Finloop Finance and QFPay HK have developed a digital asset payment solution that allows merchants to accept HKDAP and other compliant digital assets, while maintaining their existing HKD settlement workflow.

The collaboration provides a foundation for further exploration of HKDAP within local payment activities. Going forward, the parties will continue to strengthen operational processes within a robust compliance framework and assess additional applications for regulated digital money across payment and settlement workflows. The collaboration broadens the range of digital payment options available to merchants and supports access to a growing base of digital asset users, while contributing to the continued development of Hong Kong's digital financial infrastructure.
