Held under the Global Thai Product Export Management System Project, the programme aims to provide Thai businesses with practical knowledge and structured support for selling Thai products through international e-commerce channels.

The session took place on 23 June 2026 at the Grand Chambray Ballroom, Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok. It brought together Thai entrepreneurs, e-commerce store representatives, partner organisations and international trade experts to help businesses prepare for more effective expansion into overseas markets.

The opening remarks were delivered by Dr. Supaporn Sukmak, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion. She underscored that success in cross-border e-commerce requires more than quality products.

"Today, operating in international e-commerce markets is no longer dependent solely on product quality. Businesses must also be ready across multiple dimensions, including store management, digital marketing, consumer data analytics, order fulfilment, logistics and systematic after-sales service."

The training focused on practical knowledge for Thai entrepreneurs seeking to enter overseas e-commerce markets, which have become an increasingly important channel for reaching international consumers. As digital platforms, logistics systems and consumer behaviour continue to evolve rapidly, businesses need the right knowledge, tools and operational readiness to compete effectively.

The programme featured expert-led sessions on key areas that Thai entrepreneurs should prepare for before entering international markets. Mr. Porsche Jarumon, Commercial Affairs Officer, Senior Professional Level, and Acting Industrial Property Expert at the Department of Intellectual Property, delivered a session on trademark management and intellectual property protection, highlighting essential foundations for developing and safeguarding Thai brands in global markets.

Participants also gained insights from Dr. Nareerat Rattanapornwisetkul, Chairman of Thai Pavilion Group Co., Ltd., who presented on "Decoding the New Chinese Consumer and Opportunities for Thai Products in the Chinese Market." Her session explored emerging consumer trends in China, purchasing behaviour and opportunities for Thai entrepreneurs to reach Chinese consumers more effectively through cross-border e-commerce.

In addition, Mr. Promsin Boonchan, Founder and Managing Partner of Prom Legal Solution Co., Ltd., shared legal guidance and key considerations for Thai businesses selling products through international e-commerce platforms. His session focused on legal compliance, risk management and important precautions entrepreneurs should address before operating in overseas markets.

Another key highlight of the event was an overview and live demonstration of the project's system. Participants were introduced to the Global Thai Product Export Management System through a step-by-step walkthrough, covering areas from product data preparation to digital tools that support businesses in expanding into international markets.

The training also created an opportunity for participants to exchange perspectives, raise business-related questions and build connections with entrepreneurs, support organisations and project partners. These collaborative networks are expected to play an important role in helping more Thai products reach consumers worldwide.

Amid rapidly changing global economic conditions and technology-driven trade behaviour, DITP remains committed to creating new opportunities for Thai entrepreneurs. Through the development of essential tools, systems and collaborative networks, the Department aims to strengthen the international competitiveness of Thai products and lay the foundation for sustainable growth in the borderless economy.
